All black and white photographs presented on this site are printed on silver gelatin photographic paper using traditional darkroom methods and techniques and were photographed using a 4x5 view camera which provides the utmost in clarity and sharpness that is apparent in the prints.  The color photographs were photographed using a digital camera and printed via a local printing lab. In the process of making each of my black and white prints every consideration to produce the highest quality photograph is maintained throughout the entire photographic process.  Each photograph is printed with compassion and mounted and matted with precision and conforms to an archival standard in all of it's components as well as the processing procedures.

Primarily my photographic outings and are within the central valley of California and the western and eastern Sierra Nevada mountains of California, so most of my photographs come from this region.  My interest of imagery lies in the natural beauty of rivers and streams, subtle white water cascades, the delicate textures that lie within the forest and the timeless stature of the highest granite mountains.  I've segregated my photographs into galleries that contain images of similar subject matter.

Presented within this site are highly select images which I feel represent the best of photographic process, imagery and presentation.
