This image was taken after a morning of traveling east from Ebbetts Pass along Highway 4 up and over Monitor Pass on highway 89 and south down highway 395 to this location which is about 6 miles south of Mono Lake California. There was a fair amount of haze in the air which presents the distant mountains in a soft light.
